This two-storey, in 2004 built high-quality holiday cabin is located in Tuusniemi, by the lake Konttivesi (15 m). Dock and a boat and the beach is great for swimming (gently sloping sand bottom). Cabin has 4 bedrooms each with 2 beds (2 with own toilet), bedroom with single bed, two bathrooms (one on each floor), electric sauna, kitchen, living room that is also suitable to be used as a conference room (12 people), lobby area with a fireplace, utility room, tumble dryer and a loft where four people can lodge. Also, the cabin has two balconies and two sunny terraces. Pets are not allowed inside cottage any more. Pets allowed in terrace and plot has also dog compound. 10825 Eräpaimen/kalamökki cabin can be used as additional accommodation (2 persons). The cabins are rented both together or separately.

This destination is perfect also for having meetings and family celebrations. There is a programme service, Eräpaimen Oy near by, too that offers a variety of services. For example, organizing meetings and parties, fishing, hunting and boat trips, providing smoke sauna (200 eur/ heating, distance about 100 m from the main cottage) and a spacious hut (35 eur/day, distance about 90 m from the main cottage), prices in 2018. Languages of service: Finnish, English, Russian and German. Located close to Valamo monastery, Lintula nunnery and Karvionkoski rapid. Since the cabin is right by the shore of Konttivesi, it can be reached by water via Suvasvesi and Heinävesi, both from Kuopio and Savonlinna areas. Distances: Kuopio 85 km, Joensuu 75 km, Varkaus 68 km, Lintula nunnery 4 km, Valamo monastery 18 km, Karvionkoski 12 km (also a shop and a gas station). Activities and additional services: Eräpaimen Oy (tel. +358 44 067 8373): fishing and hunting in Finland and Russian Karjala (Karelia) (elk, bear, fowl), crayfishing and church boat trips. Rental of fishing and skiing equipment. Catering and meeting services, bed linen can be rented on arrival from owner. NOTE! Reservations for two weeks or more comes extra cleaning. The cabin can be reached by car during the summer and winter. Car heater plug for 4 cars.
