140 km northeast from Oulu, near Syöte ski resort in Huuhkanen area, Lake Ala-Huuhkanen 50 m (length 1 km, width 100 m, joined with two other lakes), no own beach, road between the cottage and lake (no traffic in the road/situation in April 2018), own rowing boat. Path to the lake shore is quite steep. Distance to the public beach is 150 m. Wooden cottage, built in 1999. Kitchen-living room, dining area, bedroom with a double bed, upstairs bedroom with 2 beds (entrance to the balcony is from the bedroom), upstairs lobby with two sofa beds, sauna, washroom/toilet (the washroom was renovated in 11/2020). Two covered terraces (one is facing to the lake). This cottage is suitable for couples, families and other who enjoy peaceful holiday. The cottage is not rented for groups of under 25s. Notice! NOTE! Construction on neighbour lot from 06/2022. May cause intermittent interference.

Mountain bike route in 300 m distance. Syöte National Park 9 km, Syöte Visitor centre 14 km. In winter season daily Ski bus connection from Oulu to Syöte, operates via Oulu Airport. On weekdays bus from Pudasjärvi to Syöte and back. Distance from the cottage to the bus stop is about 9 km. Please check the timetables of both bus connections always in advance!
