85 km north of Kuopio. Lake Nurmes 15 m (length 7 km, breadth 3 km), own boat. Hard sandy clay bottom, pier. Good for swimming. In natural state shoreline are rocks. Kangaslahti village´s public swimming beach 4km and it’s more suitable for children. A separate log cabin 1990, living room/kitchen with convertible sofa bed, bedroom with 2 beds, part of low sleeping loft with 2+1 mattresses, steep stairs, sauna (shower in sauna), open veranda. Wifi internet 100MB/s. There is an air source heat pump with cooling and warming functionality on the cabin.

Comfortable log cabin is situated peaceful location, from cottage terrace is short trip to beach. Plot is mostly in natural state and sunny in morning and during day. Lot of fish in clear water Nurmesjärvi lake (for example pike perch, perch, pike, whitefish). Local fishing license and a few fish traps is included the price. Smoking oven and grill hut. One bicyckle available. TAHKOVUORI ski resort 40 km (in winter time 17 km along ice road) Huuhkajankierros backpacking trail with campfire place along route, lean-to 8 km, Pisavuori nature reserve, observation tower, nature trail and old Täyssinnä border stone 25 km.

Mökki juuri täydellinen omaa rauhaa etsivälle. Järvi myös todella kalaisa, isoa ahventa löytyi hyvin.

Mökki oli siisti ja sieltä löytyi kaikki mitä tarvittiin. Rauhallinen sijainti, naapureita ei näkynyt. Maisemat hienot. Tahko melko lähellä, vaikka jäätie ei ollutkaan kelien takia käytössä. Sopii oikein hyvin erityisesti perheille, jotka lomailevat koiran kanssa.

Erinomainen mökki kalastajalle ja eräilijälle. Todella kalaisa järvi ja hyvät metsäpolut eräillä ja kävellä. Hiljaisuuden rikkoo vain järven toisellapuolella olevan maatilan lehmät ajoittaisine ammumisineen - todella rentouttava sijainti.
