Accommodation information
45 km from Kuopio, lake Kuttajärvi 10 m (length 7 km, width 3 km), pier, own rowing boat, shallow sand/gravel-bottomed beach. Wooden cabin (built in 1973, completely renovated in 2010). Living room, sofa bed (140 x 200 cm bed), large dining group, heat reserving fireplace, kitchenette, sleeping alcove (140 x 200 cm bed and cot), high chair for a baby. There is an air source heat pump in the cabin (heating and cooling). Two sleeping sheds in the yard; kelo log-built shed (120 x 200 cm bed) and round log-built shed (80 x 200 cm bed and sofa bed 140 x 200 cm). Sheds are available from May to September. Sheds are equipped with transferable electric heaters. Lakeside sauna. In the winter season, water must be taken from the lake by using a bucket. In the summer, water can be pumped from the lake. There is a wood-burning sauna stove in the sauna, shower in the sauna (available on in the summer). Separate dressing room with open fireplace. There is a campfire site located in front of the lakeside sauna. Log-built outdoor toiler in the yard. The owner brings 10 liters of drinking water to the cabin. If you need more drinking water, it can be picked up free of charge from the owner’s farm, distance 5 km. IN WINTER (1.10 - 30.4.): 2+2 GUESTS ALLOWED (accommodation only in the cabin). IN SUMMER (1.5. - 30.9.): 2+6 GUESTS ALLOWED (sleeping sheds are also available.)

Cozy cabin on a spacious and bright plot. Lawn yard area offers plenty of space for many kinds of summer games. Nice view over the lake Kuttajärvi from the large terrace. The owner has a 5 hp outboard motor for rent. Please contact directly to the owner for the details. During the winter, there will be a cross-country ski trail on the ice of the lake (if weather condition allows). Distance to the ski trail is approx. 60 m. Places to visit: Mäkelä Highland 5 km, which is the owner's highland cattle farm with direct sales point for meat, village of Syväniemi, where are the summer theatre, shop and 19th-century ironworks area Souru Ironworks, Salmon fishing area Tervon Lohimaa 28 km, Autuaankangas 5 km, where is summer kiosk, salmon fishing pond Autuaanlampi and lean-to shelter.

Yllätyimme, miten mukavaksi talvimökkeily oli onnistuttu meille tekemään, vaikka mökissä ei ollut juoksevaa vettä eikä viemäriä. Olimme varautuneet alkeellisempiin olosuhteisiin. Lämpimän tuvan lisäksi saunassa odotti jo lämmin vesi tullessamme <3
