Accommodation information
This in 1996 built log cabin is located in Syväjärvi recreational fishing area. There are 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds, livingroom with convertible bunk, kitchenette, shower and toilet in the cabin. During winter cottage is pre-heated for +15 ºC, on arrival the guest turns more heating. There are four similar cabins and also some caravan places in the area and they all share an electric sauna with separate room and fireplace. Distance to shared sauna ab. 200 m from cabins. The turns for the use of the sauna have to be settled with the cabin neighbours (list for that is found at the sauna). 1h/day sauna is included in the rent. Distance to sauna ab. 200 m. Barbecue hut in shared use. Shore is fairly good, rowing boat. Please note that during "Angling day", fishing event for children and young people, there is an annual ban on fishing in the area, eg from 9th June 0:00 till 11th June 2022 until 3 pm (more information: eraluvat.fi/en/backpack/outdoor-learning/angling-day).

WILDERNESS CABIN: Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. Cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that. Due to long distances maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented). Water is not examined every year, so we recommend boiling the drinking water. Distances: Kuhmo 20 km, Sale (Koskenmäki) 18 km, bus stop 1.5 km, Kajaani railway station 80 km, Kajaani airport 90 km. Fishing permit automatic. Cabin can be reached by car. Reservation starts at 14.00.
