This round logged cabin has been built in 1993 on the shore of pond Kaunislampi in Koirajärvi recreational fishing area near Salamajärvi National Park. Cabin has a combined kitchen/living room (2 wide lower beds and 2 narrow upper beds) and indoor sauna. Iron stove heating, cellar, kitchen sink and sewer, water well. Cabin is quite dark since wooden walls and ceilings have darkened. Solar panel lighting, also possibility to charge mobile phone at summer time. Winter time candel light. Campfire site at yard, jetty, shore is moderate for swimming. No boat.

WILDERNESS CABIN: Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. Cabin is not preheated before customer’s arrival. Cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that. Due to long distances maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented). This cabin requires outdoor attitude and skills (how to make fire, for example). If you’re not sure, please consider another option. Water is not examined yearly so boiling the drinking water before use is recommended. Distance of 5 km to Salamajärvi National Park, with excellent choice of walking trails and campfire places. During the high fishing season, there can be other fishermen around. There are public hut (distance from the cabin 70 m) and lean-to (distance from the cabin 170 m) on the shore of pond Kaunislampi. Hyvää oli sähkövalot, polttopuut kuivaa koivua , hyvä sauna ja tietenkin hieno paikka, tie perille. Huonoa jääkaappi ei pelannut.
