Accommodation information
Niemistupa wilderness cabin is situated on the shore of Lake Niemisjärvi (distance 30 m) in the Evo recreational fishing area. The cabin provides simple accommodation for those with a pioneering wilderness spirit. Cabin has a room containing an open fireplace and a small kitchen area, crockery and cutlery for 5 people, two bunkbeds and one single bed, mattress, pillow and blankets provided, linen not included. No sauna in the cabin, but use of shared electric sauna is included in the price (client will take care of heating). Rowing boat. Bring your own drinking water, water from the cottage well is not drinkable. Please note that during "Angling day", fishing event for children and young people, there is an annual ban on fishing in the area, eg from 9th 0:00 o'clock till 11th June 2022 until 3 pm (more information: eraluvat.fi/en/backpack/outdoor-learning/angling-day).

WILDERNESS CABIN: Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. Cabin is not preheated before customer’s arrival. Cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that. Due to long distances maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented). This cabin requires outdoor attitude and skills (how to make fire, for example). If you’re not sure, please consider another option. Please remember to bring water for drinking and cooking, the well water is very ferrous and manganese-containing. Cabin has no sauna of its own, but two hours of sauna bathing in the nearby reservable electric sauna (room for 5 people at the time) is included in the cabin price. Near cabin is situated camping and caravan area. Cabin can be reached by car during summer and winter. Check-in 2 pm at the earliest, check-out by noon. More information: www.outdoors.fi/en/evo
