Accommodation information
Hokajärvi Lodge is situated in Evo recreational area about 150 km from Helsinki. There are three buildings in the yard: “Iitan kartano” is for accommodation. “Sulon tupa”-house is used for dining and the third building is a wood heated yardsauna. “Sulon tupa”-house with a kitchen and a dining space for 20 people, one toilet. “Iitan kartano”-house has accommodation capacity of two double rooms, upstairs sleeping berths for nine persons with drop –curtains. All 13 beds are twin beds + sofa bed for 2 persons. conference room for 20 people. The conference room has a fireplace, set of couches and a kitchenette. The sauna department has a sauna for 10 people, shower room with 3 showers, 2 toilets. Please, notice that water in the tap includes a little bit iron but is drinkable. Small walking bridge leads to the island, where there are site for a campfire and pier. Please, take firewood from the cabin.

WILDERNESS CABIN: Cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that. Due to long distances maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented). The surrounding area with its natural springs and trekking possibilities, is an ideal setting for self orientated trips as well as for guided excursions. Evo is one of the largest continuous forested areas in the southern Finland. Inside the 47 sq.km. large Hiking Area, you can walk on marked trails. Evo offers good hiking possibilities in varied landscape. There are about 70 km of marked trails. Evo area is also an excellent place for biking, canoeing, swimming, berry and mushroom picking, fishing etc. There is no beach, but you can go swimming from the pier (bottom is soft). Good sandy beach for swimming is by the lake Alinen Rautjärvi at Riviera-bay, distance about 5 km. Shopping centre Tuulonen 27 km. The cabin can be reached by car during the summer and winter. Hieno paikka vaikka onkin lähellä tietä. Tiskikoneen kanssa kannattaa olla varovainen konetta ei ole kiinnitetty milläänlailla ja kaatuu kun vedät täydett korit ulos. Punasen talon etuoven lukko tuskallinen laittaa kiinni lukkolaite temppuilee taisi olla auki kun paikalle saavuttiin

Mukava mökki, jonkin verran puutteita.

Mökeillä oli kivasti tilaa sekä isolla porukalla syömiseen että majoittumiseen ja koska syöminen ja nukkuminen oli erillisissä mökeissä oli mahdollista rauhoittaa toinen mökki aiemmin nukkumaan menijöille. Sähkösauna oli kivan iso myös. Mökillä oli riittävästi astioita isoon kattaukseen. Ainoastaan iso paistinpannu...See more
